Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional counselling services to individuals, groups, or families
- Support clients with mental health, emotional well-being, life transitions, and relationship challenges
- Develop tailored therapeutic plans and coping strategies
- Maintain accurate client records and confidentiality
- Collaborate with other professionals (healthcare, education, social services)
- Support early intervention and wellbeing programs where applicable
What We’re Looking For:
- A relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
- NZAC, NZCCA, or other recognised registration/accreditation (or working toward it)
- At least 1–2 years of counselling experience (preferred)
- Empathy, strong communication, and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to cultural competency and inclusive practice
